Three simple little postcards I plan to swap.  Sometimes it's fun to just draw with a pen and add a little color.

I'm Back!

Trying to get back in the groove after a long and arduous house move.  Here are some postcards I did for the MMSA hot pink & orange swap, mostly in watercolor pencil.  Not my favorite color combination, so it was a stretch for me.

A short break ...

Art projects will be delayed while I move house - what a big job!  Hope to be creating again soon!

Purple & Green Swap

Two purple & green postcards for a swap at MMSA, both done with watercolors and micropen.

A collage for my first Three Muses challenge.  The prompt was, you guessed it, "Bon Voyage."

On The Grid

Three postcards done mostly in watercolors that I submitted for the MMSA "grid" swap (sorry the photo quality isn't great).  To see other mail art, go to http://mailmesomeart.blogspot.com.

For a "Think Monday, Think ATC" swap on the subject of  "Bird Song," here is a little pen and ink sketch.

Vintage postcards that I picked up at antique stores came in handy for this collage featuring 'handwriting.'  I added used teabags for some age; other marks were done with charcoal pencil.

Steampunk

Here's a collage I did for the Collage Obsession "Steampunk" challenge.

New ATC's

These are for an Asian-themed swap.  My son lives in Japan, so I have plenty of fodder for this subject.

I covered the background with a teabag;
watercolors also used.
