A collage for my first Three Muses challenge.  The prompt was, you guessed it, "Bon Voyage."

On The Grid

Three postcards done mostly in watercolors that I submitted for the MMSA "grid" swap (sorry the photo quality isn't great).  To see other mail art, go to http://mailmesomeart.blogspot.com.

For a "Think Monday, Think ATC" swap on the subject of  "Bird Song," here is a little pen and ink sketch.

Vintage postcards that I picked up at antique stores came in handy for this collage featuring 'handwriting.'  I added used teabags for some age; other marks were done with charcoal pencil.

Steampunk

Here's a collage I did for the Collage Obsession "Steampunk" challenge.

Go to http://collageobsessionchallenge.blogspot.com/ to see other great collages.

New ATC's

These are for an Asian-themed swap.  My son lives in Japan, so I have plenty of fodder for this subject.

I covered the background with a teabag;
watercolors also used.

Collage

Watercolor pencils, micro pen

Everybody Is A Star

These postcards are for an upcoming MMSA swap on the subject of  'stars.'

Collage

Alcohol inks, pen

Watercolor + watercolor pencil, pencil, acrylics

Watercolor, marker, pen

Okay, who did this?!

These look suspiciously like yellow paint pawprints ...

Getting Back to It!

How's that saying go?  Life is what happens while you're making other plans?  Or something like that ... anyway, my blog has suffered while I dealt with the holidays, etc.  So I'm getting back into the swing, and here are some little "masterpieces" I've been working on.

Some journal doodling in the style of Traci Bautista

For the Creative Souls "France" postcard swap.
This is done with acrylic paints and ink.

These three little guys are for the MMSA "Cats" swap.  Just some little sketches done with pen and ink.

And these are ATC's I did for the MMSA "Stamp Heads" swap ... you get the idea ... this was a fun one!

These are postcards I created for the Mail Me Some Art "Birds" Swap.
